Updating Your Supra Key

Display keys and e-keys update automatically when left connected to their respective cradles or in the case of e-keys, to your computer with an active internet connection. If you did not have your key connected overnight, you may use the following methods to update manually:

Display Key
There are 3 methods of obtaining a Supra Display Key Update Code:

1. Use your Display Key Cradle
2. KIM VOICE (Supra Automated Telephone System)
3. Obtain an Update Code Online


1. Use your Display Key Cradle

If you have access to a Display Key Cradle you may:

1. Press the "ENTER" button on your key (the display should read "key is expired update now".
2. Using the scroll button ( ), scroll down through the menu until you see the words "MANUAL ESYNC". Press enter.
3. Key will then display the message "PLACE KEY IN CRADLE" go ahead and place the key in the cradle.
4. You will notice the lights on your cradle changing colors. Give it a couple minutes until the light stays green. At this point the key should display the message KEY UPDATED FOR: (current date).

2. KIM VOICE (Supra Automated Telephone System)

If you do not have access to a display key cradle:

Call KIM VOICE (Supra's automated telephone system) at: 888-968-4032

Instructions:

1. You will be prompted to enter your 3 digit area code.
2. You will then be prompted to enter you key number, pin number, and the # key.
3. The system will generate an update code for you, make a note of it.
4. To enter the code into your key you will need to access the menu in your key by pressing the "ENTER" button.
5. Scroll down the menu until key displays the option that reads "INPUT UPDATE OR CBS CODE". Press the "ENTER" button.
6. Select option 1 by pressing the number 1 on your keypad.
7. Enter the update code using your keypad and press the enter button once you have finished. Key will indicate the update was successful.


3. Obtain an Update Code Online

Instructions:

Click on the Icon labeled "LOG ON TO KIM"
Select "CA-Tri-Counties AOR" from the dropdown list of associations.
Select the "Agent Log in" option
Enter your key number and pin number in the appropriate fields and then log in.
Once logged in, select the option to update key from the menu on the right side of the page.

To enter the code into your key you will need to access the menu in your key by pressing the "ENTER" button.
Scroll down the menu until key displays the option that reads "INPUT UPDATE OR CBS CODE". Press the "ENTER" button.
Select option 1 by pressing the number 1 on your keypad.
Enter the update code using your keypad and press the enter button once you have finished. Key will indicate the update was successful.


Note: You may only obtain one update code in between e-syncs. This means you cannot receive 2 consecutive update codes, regardless of the elapsed time. After receiving an update code, the next time you update your key; it must be done through a Cradle (see cradle instructions).

E-Key

There are 3 methods of obtaining a Supra E-Key Update Code:

1. Use your E-Key Cradle (E-Key shell, or shell-less E-Key's will work)
2. KIM VOICE (Supra Automated Telephone System)
3. Obtain an Update Code Online


1. Use your E-Key Cradle (E-Key shell, or shell-less E-Key's will work)

1. Place your key in the cradle or connect your PDA to your computer with an active internet connection.
2. Select the e-sync application on your PDA.
3. You will have two options here: (1) Update key only, (2) Update key and MLS information
Select option 2 to update both the E-key and MLS Information. *Note: Option 1 is much faster due to the fact you are updating the key. The MLS information in your e-key will not be up-to-date by selecting option1. 4. Your key will connect to supra and update.

2. KIM VOICE (Supra Automated Telephone System)

If you do not have access to a e-key key cradle:

Call KIM VOICE (Supra's automated telephone system) at: 888-968-4032

Instructions:

1. You will be prompted to enter your 3 digit area code.
2. You will then be prompted to enter you key number, pin number, and the # key.
3. The system will generate an update code for you, make a note of it.
4. To enter the code into your key you will need to select the E-Key application in your PDA. Here you will see a notification letting you know that your key is expired. Press the OK 5. You will get a screen asking if you would like to enter a code to update your key, select yes.
6. A keypad will appear. Enter the code here and press OK. Your key will prompt you once it has updated.


3. Obtain an Update Code Online

Instructions:

Click on the Icon labeled "LOG ON TO KIM"
Select "CA-Tri-Counties AOR" from the dropdown list of associations.
Select the "Agent Log in" option
Enter your key number and pin number in the appropriate fields and then log in.
Once logged in, select the option to update key from the menu on the right side of the page and follow instructions above.

Note: You may only obtain one update code in between e-syncs. This means you cannot receive 2 consecutive update codes, regardless of the elapsed time. Canceling a Supra Key

To cancel you're Supra key you MUST come into the association to complete the required cancellation paperwork. You MUST bring your key and cradle with you.

How to Transfer a Supra Key

How do you transfer to these regions? Do you call 909-594-5992?

Transferring to any of the following regions does not require you to come into Tri-Counties.
SoCalMLS
MRMLS
ITECH

If you are transferring to a region that is not listed, you MUST come into Tri-Counties AOR and fill out the necessary key cancellation paperwork.
